Embedded teams lose time in places nobody puts on the roadmap: waiting for boards, reproducing a failure that happens once in a hundred boots, maintaining vendor-specific test rigs, and finding out during integration that an early assumption was wrong. It looks like unavoidable engineering complexity. Often, it is simply the cost of not being able to ask the hardware enough questions, early enough.

Simulator86 makes the device available as software. Engineers can run the code they plan to ship against virtual hardware, reproduce failures on demand, explore timing variations, and inspect what happened without waiting for a bench to become available. Teams can work through the web application, automate complete workflows with the SDK, or let their coding agents investigate through MCP.

Simulation does not remove physics. It gives us a place to confront it earlier, repeatedly, and at a scale a lab bench cannot reach. The goal is not to make embedded development pretend it is web development. The goal is to give embedded teams the leverage software teams already take for granted, without pretending the hardware is easy.

Simulator86 is based in Amman, Jordan. We are building simulation infrastructure for engineers and businesses whose products have to keep working after the demo, outside the lab, in the real world.
